Capabilities Readiness Reference Implementation
Spearhead the development of a uniform and resilient cybersecurity infrastructure across the EU
More Details
Guided by globally acclaimed standards like ISO 17065 and relevant European Accreditation (EA) guidelines, the task focuses on both technical prowess and economic feasibility. It aspires to advance individual technical competencies but also to promote collaboration and trust among all stakeholders in the EU cybersecurity ecosystem, ensuring compliance with state-of-the-art cybersecurity regulations such as the CSA, CRA, NIS2, and RED-DA.
These objectives will be achieved through:
- Generic Framework: Develop a framework that supports harmonised collaboration, ensures compliance with EU regulations, and enhances each Member State’s cybersecurity assessment and certification capacity. The focus is on building an ecosystem that emphasizes collective strength and coherence over individual prowess.
- Consistent Environments: Create a baseline of consistent physical and digital environments, enabling a harmonious CAB infrastructure that serves as the backbone for cybersecurity conformity assessment and certification across the EU.
- Standardised Procedures: Formalize all procedures, guidelines, and policies in a standardized manner as specified by ISO/IEC 17065 and relevant EA guidelines. This will ensure transparency, facilitate audits, and improve conformity assessment and certification results.
